Services

Based on student and parent questionnaires, and the student’s academic profile, I develop a customized list of colleges tailored to the student’s academic interests, extracurricular interests, personality, career goals, and my knowledge of the current college admissions landscape. ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎

To make sure the student’s voice and accomplishments are clearly conveyed, I provide detailed feedback (content, grammar, structure) on college application essays and extracurricular activity descriptions in the Common Application. ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎

While test scores and transcripts are important, outstanding interviews bring the applicant to life and help admissions officers get a sense of the student’s excitement about learning. Many students find it helpful to do a practice interview with me before meeting with an admissions officer or alumni representative. ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎

I have an extensive background in college admissions, including twelve years on the Bowdoin College staff, where I evaluated over 10,000 applications and over 20,000 essays, so I review each student’s essay and their entire application with an expert’s eye. ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎
